Hi,
is it possible to put covers on the SH-I '59 pu ?
And if yes, what size are the good one: 50,5 mm or 53 mm ?
Will it affect the sound ?
Thank in advance for your input,
:smoker:

yes you can put covers on a 59. it will have a little effect on the sound, making the top end a little smoother and warmer.

im not sure what size youll need but im guessing some one will chime in

You can use Duncan covers or those from Allparts. Those from Allparts are less expensive but the finish is just a little bit nicer on those from Duncan. When I can get them, I prefer those from Duncan because they look just a tiny bit nicer. But the Allparts covers look fine and seem to sound the same.

Duncan sells the covers seperately and any dealer can get them for you. We often have them in stock and I'm guessing Lew does as well.
