I could never treat any les paul of any kind like that man. You got to love your instruments for them to love you back. Good luck and take it to a TECH!

Titebond, a turkey baster, clamps and wood splints. Thanks for the tips, guys. I'll let you know how badly we messed up once we remove the clamps.
I will also add that one of the best LPs I ever heard has a horrible headstock repair, where the crack still has a little play in it.
Restrung it and practiced with it today. Works better than before. Saved a rear-end load of money too. Thanks to Josh for the help

I've been told that there is a guy in town that will do a good job for $100. Is that reasonable?
Great job... I would have bailed on it. I'm a spaz when it come to working with wood to that degree.
