I think it's one of those 'Specs subject to change without notice as we are continually improving our products' things. They kept improving on design and the V-Series may be just an upgrade series. Makes sense to me.

Crate (St. Louis Music) is a progressive company always evolving thier products. I've been using Crate since 2000 and I've seen their constant evolving.

The Palomino series are the same amps as the V5/V1512/V30H/ done in blonde for GC.

I was referring to the old VC series. I was interested in picking up a vintage club 50, but not if its basically the same amp I have now (V series 3112)
