Crazy 8? In maple?

I have a Brandy new Crazy 8. Im kinda saving it for a rainy day. Anyone try one in a maple guitar? I have a maple body/neck carvin with a kahler that needs alittle more warmth.
What cha think??

I don't know, the regular PATB series, sure - but the 8 is hot in the mids and pretty bright....it would be a fun experiment

Ive heard its a great match. Ive doen threads on this. Ive heard the Crazy-8 highs are present, but dont get searing.
Ive also heard the Jazz is a mtch made in heaven for a mpale or hardwood bright guitar. Dont know why.

I would be afraid of the highs...then again Im always afraid of the highs...Im a bottom dweller

I have a Crazy8 in a all mahogonay LP and it has taken all the mud and most of the sponge out of it. I think it would do good in maple for most ears...it should have plenty of bass and definately will cut through
