Crazy P/U Config

I just got my hands on an old peavy raptor copy, and all it needs is the elctronics. I was going to go for an original start setup, but then decided to mix it up. Any ideas for a crazy pickup configurationt that still sounds sweet? I was thinking maybe a jazzmaster in the bridge position, and a p-90 in neck position. Anyone else tried anything unconventional that worked out well?

If I had a spare strat lying around, I'd install a Firebird style mini at the neck, a Classic Stack in the mid, and a Tele lead stack in the bridge. This, along with a 7 way switching scheme would give you tons of cool, useful tones.

My Parker's getting an overhaul - i'm planning a Phat cat in the bridge, a Little 59 in the middle, and a classic stack plus at the neck. and wiring it so i can have the Phat cat and Classic stack together in parrallel.
