"cream/aged white" cover for hot rails

Hi,

I have a hot rails pickup installed in my Fender Stratocaster American Deluxe, bridge position. The cover color is white, and I would like to change the cover for matching the other two Fender N3 pickups in "aged white".

Is there any place where I can buy the cover I need?

Thank you for your help!

Thanks!

But it seems that he doesn't have any suitable cover for the hot rails.

Re: "cream/aged white" cover for hot rails

is yours an old style hot rails or new style? the new ones do not have a replaceable cover

Re: "cream/aged white" cover for hot rails

I think is is new style, the pickup was manufactured by the end of 2013.

Re: "cream/aged white" cover for hot rails

yes, then it is new style and you cannot swap the cover easily.

Re: "cream/aged white" cover for hot rails

I didn't think the covers on those could be replaced at all.

Re: "cream/aged white" cover for hot rails

not without pulling the whole thing apart and risking destroying it

Tea/coffee work on aging covers but you can't do that on that pickup.

I had a local builder age a JB+Hotrails set for an already relic'd LTD strat I had.

Can't remember what he used to to make them more like the knobs (hard to tell in the before pic, but they was a vast difference between the new white pickups and the factory relic'd knobs) but maybe giving him a shout can help?
