Yup.

And as hard as those things are to switch on and off when you WANT to do so, it's AMAZINGLY easy to do it when you don't want to.


As far as the Bad Horsie wah, I had a friend's at my house for a month just recently. It's cool, but I hate spring-loaded pedals where it returns to some point. Part of the coolness of the Crybaby is when you crack it open to some point and leave it there for a while as you wail away. Can't do that with a spring-loaded pedal.

You can with the Weeping Demon. Just flip the lever back to the footswitch option, and you can set it and leave it on.

Ok, I see the issue with the LED now. I never thought of it from that angle, probably coz I've never used a small or crowded board.

For you Crybaby/Vox users, notice you can set the height of the switch by the nut on the switch inside the housing. By moving it up, it's easier to engage and by moving it down you really need to step on it.

It's really really easy to mod a crybaby to have an indicator light. Mine does

Hey MetlKing, who did you LED mod for your wah? I'm pretty good with wiring and soldering (made a ton of my own bypass boxes, footswitches, routers, etc...) so I'm interested in trying this.

For those of you who had their wahs modded for an LED...where did you actually put the light? By the toe, or back by the heel, or on the rocker itself?

I too am guilty of powering up my rig, with my wah wah on, about 3/4 of the way up, strumming away, asking myself "WHY does my rig sound like absolute dogsh*t tonight???", only to then realize that I had the stupid wah on.
