Current Kai Hansen pickups?

I may be wrong but it seems in newer videos that Kai Hansen replaced his EMG pickups to passive pickups. Even if not, what passive SD would give a nice Helloween tone?

He is a great player, but im not sure what he used back then, and watching videos isnt always an accurate representation of the actual gear used on the album or live for that matter cause sometimes they are just flashy guitars or loaners sometimes.

If you dig his tone and know he uses EMG's why not get them?
If I were to guess what pickup he used in Helloween, Id say one of these three; SH-4,SH-6, or DiMarzio Super-D...of course youll need to find out what amp or rackmount stuff he used to get the full effect...That and an ESP-V.
