Current pedal line-up

What I have going at the moment:

Vox 845 wah
Ibanez TS-9
Fulltone OCD
TC Electronics Dark Matter Distortion
TC Electronics Flashback Delay
TC Electronics Corona Chorus.

Really digging the TC Electronics pedals. I was a G Major user for years and their pedals are just as cool. The Tone Print option is very useful and the tone on all their pedals is Killer. Not sure whether I want to use the TS-9 or the OCD as my overdrive but the TS-9 into the dark matter really crushes.

I gotz Tone baby!

Nice, you've got all the basics I'd need. I like having to od's it gives me more options. What are you running it into?

The Celtic Wallace Scott made (class a 2-el34s) in to a 112 open back with a 12g30h.

Epi LP with a SH-6 set.

Re: Current pedal line-up

Nice. I have the TC Electronics Polytune as my only TC pedal but I am very interested in the Flashback delay. That's a simple but efficient setup right there.

Re: Current pedal line-up

I like having two overdrives on my board. I've even thought about adding a third one. I currently use a Joyo Sweet Baby that I keep on 99% of the time. I have an MXR Custom badass overdrive that I keep the gain low and the output high on to use it as a solo boost. I want to add something a little less harsh than that eventually.

Good to see you posting again, and coming back up with your music equip.
Going back to basics may have it's benefits.

Ever track down that loser?

Re: Current pedal line-up

I sport a BB Preamp, an OCD, a TS9, a CAE Wah, and my g system with a mission engineering expression pedal.

Nice train.
But, I am curious about how do you arrange TS9 and OCD.
It seems that you stack TS9 in OCD.

I had a TS808 and a OCD V3. With version 3, I've found that stacking the TS first, the tone of the OCD was totally wrong. OCDs are famous because of their impedance issues with some pedals and, that was the case with the TS so, I had to run the OCD into the TS, instead.

Those TC Electronic pedals sound really good and, very versatile.

Re: Current pedal line-up

I was running the TS-9 in to the OCD and didn't have any issues that I noticed. What I am going to decide is whether to use the OCD or the TS-9, I hadn't considered using both.

The TC Dark Matter Distortion is a very nice pedal. Unlike my old Rat pedal or even the OCD which both tend to sound a bit harsh with the gain up into a clean amp, the Dark Matter sounds phenominal. Great distortion from a clean amp and with the gain up on the amp it grinds. I haven't been this happy with a distortion pedal, ever.

Digging the Flashback delay. Lots of great delays, tons of time (6 seconds) and the loop function is very cool. Still havent figured out the strum/tempo thing yet but I just brought it home and plugged it in.

Totally digging the Corona chorus as well.

Finally got a real functioning rig happening again. Once I score an Avatar cab my amp situation will be solid and I can start collecting guitars again!
