i think carvin makes a few tube preamps as well
Honestly, I didn't know they were still producing stuff.

Honestly, that's pretty sick! Do you have a site I can look at for pricing and whatnot? I honestly wouldn't mind a DIY build, myself.I do a few tube preamps.
This is my main Jupiter preamp which is a take on the SLO lead channel with a built in overdrive and 5 band GEQ. It also spits out the dry DI so you can run that to an interface for recording or to another amp/preamp.
I have a few others such as mkiic+, wizard MTL, VH4, Powerball and the newest that im prototyping which is a mostly original design thats a culmination of everything i've learnt over the years.
Typically though I just do DIY PCB sets for the above but I can do full builds too if needed.

This guy clones all the older preamps.
On the other side, what about that Mini Recto? Then you can use the Stomp in 4CM to “replace” the preamp when needed.
AMT makes great pedal size tube preamps. They are made in Russia if that affects your opinion and I doubt you can order direct now, there are used ones on Reverb though. The SS-20 and SS-11a and SS-11b would be what you are looking for.
I bought an AMT pedal through Osiamo. If they don’t have the one you want, they will probably order it for you. Ed is the owner there, and he’s very personable and helpful.
