It voids the warranty on the pickup too. I think they would be flooded with broken pickup leads and people installing the magnet backwards, calling to ask why their pickup doesn't work in the middle position and some other things I'm sure I haven't thought of.

The standard Custom is the best bridge pickup that I've ever tried, and I've tried a bunch. You can play blues, classic rock, 80s hair metal and even thrash. It's awesome.
