Custom 5/Pearly gates in a Flying V

Great tone... never tried a C5. I have just re-installed a PGn and like it so far in my Yam SG, didn't like it much in my L.P.

Great tone there Jeff :fing2:

I've tried the C5 twice in a Les Paul and couldn't get along with it but I love the tone you're getting with the V.

The PGn is ubiquitously awesome!

Thanx Bros :D

300K pots I think are the key, not to mention the big mids, warm, all mahogany body- this V is quite loud acoustically- I've actually had my GF in the next room complain to me to turn it down when I didn't even have the guitar plugged in. I kid you not :laugh2: I think the V I had a couple years ago was a noticably better piece of wood (and even the stockers sounded brilliant in it), but this V is pretty decent.

When you have your GF in the next room can she tell the difference in the wood? :)
