Not sure about the Schaller.

Save for the cast baseplate and the shorter string locking screws, the Schaller is identical to OFR.

The cast baseplate is softer, and should have a dampening effect on the tone and sustain, no? The Floyd I had in this guitar was a Charvel branded Schaller, it felt a little different compared to the German OFR. I will forever believe the Schaller is however better than the OEM Original Floyd's, with their wobbly arms and tight fine tuners.

It does indeed. However, the effect is slight and rather pleasing to my ear.

The Floyd I had in this guitar was a Charvel branded Schaller, it felt a little different compared to the German OFR. I will forever believe the Schaller is however better than the OEM Original Floyd's, with their wobbly arms and tight fine tuners.

Current production OEM Originals are Korean FRT-1000 in most cases. Their threads don't mesh as well as the old German ones but they're still decent units IMO.
