It's interesting that the Duncan site describes the 59 Hybrid as:
"The ’59/Custom Hybrid is a medium output humbucker pickup that sparkles with upper midrange harmonic content and grit."

Describing sound is weird. That isn't how I'd describe it.

Maybe with the distortion box on lol. The inherent sound of the pickup clearly doesn't have upper midrange grit.

You might also consider the Perpetual Burn. A bit more midrange than a C5, sure.
But the PB isn't nasal or vowely sounding, just a tad richer.
It's also tighter in the lows, a little more open in the highs, and more dynamic overall.
