Custom floor shop dealers

Re: Custom floor shop dealers

I've had good dealings with Banjomikez. Just send him a message on eBay, he'll get back to you.

Anyone think you could get Warmoth to put through an SFC order? I'm looking to get some P-Rails either without logos or with them upside-down (since I'll be flipping each one so the rail is to the outside), but despite Warmoth's highly-custom production model there doesn't seem to be anything beyond the general "notes" just before checkout to let you do anything the website won't let you, including specify SFC tweaks on SD pickups.

I would send Warmoth an e-mail and ask them. I am not sure if they take custom orders for Duncans.

In the past I have used the notes section at checkout for specifying custom requests on their bodies and necks but I am not so sure about Duncan requests.

If you all you want is a no-logo pickup, just get the standard ones and rub the logo off with some Autosol chrome polish, make it look like it was never there.

That's a good idea, but my first choice is to get the logos upside-down on each pickup so I can flip them. No-logo is the backup plan; these are P-rails so it'll be pretty obvious they're SDs, but still, gotta give them their props.

Re: Custom floor shop dealers

For informational purposes, I e-mailed Warmoth and received a reply that they do not, in fact, handle Shop Floor Custom orders. They pointed me, of all places, to Guitar Center, which is probably the last place I'd think to ask for anything "custom".

Re: Custom floor shop dealers

The Stratosphere is a great place to go for Custom floor pup's! I'm probably a little impartial because I live about 45 miles from where they are located so they are my Duncan dealers & everything I buy is pretty much next day? Lol, just to show you how much they try and take care of their customers, I had bought a used pickup from them about a year ago & when it arrived they had forgotten about the mounting hardware? Not that big of a deal but I gave them a call just to see if perhaps they could send it to me the following Monday, it was like Friday night when I called?

Pretty much all the guy said is "we'll make that right for you". Not even an hour later I got a knock @ my door & there was this strange man on my porch? I went out & he handed me a bag of stuff! Rings, screws, bushings, springs, all kinds of stuff & he also gave me what was essentially a $20 gift certificate, although he called it a coupon?

Now the reason he went out of the way for me probably had a lot to with how close I live & the fact that I spend hundreds of dollars buying stuff from them every month, but nevertheless he drove to my house, that day, on his own time, just to make it right and he most definitely did!!! If I had one complaint about them is they're sometimes a bit slow to reply to emails, they always do & it's only happened once or twice, but I have had to wait a day for a reply back for whatever reason? On the up side, even if they don't answer your email your order gets processed super fast!!!

I've taken them off with a pencil eraser before, if all you want is a pup with no logo there's a bunch of ways to remove it without spending any extra money...
