Goliath of Tone
so.. i'm building up new GAS for a guitar and i'm getting quite specific now 
allright:
Wood:
alder. no special top, just plain bookmatched alder
Neck:
Maple, ebony fretboard, 24 frets. no inlays or piranha teeth abalone inlays (cant decide on that one yet) pointy jackson headstock, no binding, medium jumbo frets. chrome locking nut and chrome tuners. the same profile, width and thickness as my charvel (maybe 1mm thicker overall). bare wood. 15" fretboard radius
pups and config:
H-H setup; TB-4 bridge, Jazz (or 59) neck.. cant decide yet. master vomule, master tone, 500k CTS pots and a 5 way switch (pos 2 and 4 split the buckers into singles) placement like the charvel 750XL's
now the fun part:
Dinky body, scalloped lower and upper horn, no archtop. BOLT on neck, but with a special heel, that extends towards the neck to give more of a neck through heel-feel. why bolt on? i like the snappiness of it (and i'm hella clumsy by nature to boot >.< ) 25.5" scale, original chrome floyd.output jack on the side of the body
Color:
either translucent red (damn you Juan!!!! that charvel looks beautiful!!!) or a natural orangey color. both with matching headstock.
will have to think about the headstock logo though.. gotta have something there hehe
all in all.. a few mods here and there to my Charvel Fusion
so..post away. love reading threads like this. and what ya think of my axe?
