starting a few new threads today, don't mean to be spammy, just excited to be here and share some of my toys!

Recently I had the awesome guys are Moniker Guitars build a custom telecaster and fit it out with a seymour duncan SH6 and Hot Rails pickup for me

Pretty cool little touch.

I took it on the road for a month while on tour in america and put it through it's paces. I went with the hot rails for the neck as we are a metal band, I wanted this to be as high output as possible but still retain a single coil neck pickup. The moniker guys suggested an additional coil splitting switch which was a great idea. That way I have an incredibly versatile and well rounded guitar for most genres or additional layering/cleans for my recording etc.

Can't speak highly enough of their service too, they do custom builds with a 4 week turnaround which is really impressive!

I'm spending the weekend doing some audio clips with this, will post the results up here too.

cool! In the Star/Polaris I'm building, I've also got a Hot rails for the neck, but I have it wired in parallel cuz I wanted a bit of that single coil vibe without the hum. It sounds great. Got it paired with a JB8 in the bridge, which isn't toooo far off from a Distortion.

Very cool. I've been checking them out lately, wondering what they were like. Moniker contacted me recently about promoting their recently finished kickstarter on my blog. They seem like a cool bunch, they are planning on sending a tour guitar over to Australia for Aussie bloggers to check out and review.
