That's what we're going for here, in all our guitars. Magnets & pots let us do that at a low cost with instant results. It makes makes a much higher percentage of PU's capable of giving us the tones we want.

Now that is some of the best advice I have got. I just love this guitar and just want the best pu's I can get for her. When I pick it up i just don't want to put it down. It just feels perfect for me. I feel I am really lucky in that regard.

You bet your ass you are. I get the feeling you're 90% of where you want to be. Be wary of that last 10% though, you will spend more time than it's worth (I know from experience) trying to attain it. But gearjonser is right. and poignant.
