Custom shop humbuckers

How do the following compare....

Bug-Sey 'Bucker/S-Deco (Alnico II, bridge)/Custom Custom

Thanks for your help. I have a Custom 5/Jazz currently. The Custom 5 is fine, breaks up well but again too bright. & a liiiiitle too hot. So it's between the the three above, though I'm seriously leaning towards the S-Deco. For the record I play rock/funk/jazz, I use lots of clean & overdriven tones from all positions. I use an alder stratocaster with 500k pots. I almost always use at least one compressor, & i love mids in my tone. So any HUGE objections to an S-Deco (Alnico II bridge model)/Lil Pearly Gates/Pearly Gates neck?

Re: Custom shop humbuckers

if you're getting a custom shop humbucker, just tell them what you want the pickup to sound like and they'll wind it for you for the same price as the other custom shop pickups. I don't have any objections to the S-Deco, but I've never played one, so I can't tell you how it'll sound. Again, just call the custom shop, tell them you play rock/funk/jazz, and that you like the custom 5, but it's too bright and too hot. Actually, you may be interested in the brobucker, a 10k A5 pickup that's fantastic in the bridge of a strat. Just do a search on it, you'll find what you're looking for.
