Custom Shop P90 Staples Installation

I am building a Cabronita Frankencaster. I purchased a set of Custom Shop Seymour Duncan P90 Staples (thank you MJ). Could someone please advise me on how to correctly install them? There were no instructions (just wiring) and the pickups came with 1 1/2 inch screws for the two holes on the diagonal in the corners. Thank you.

I'm not familiar with the guitar or those pups, but I recently did an oddball pickup into a humbucker position by using one of Mojotones fiber baseplates. They're easy to manipulate, (ie., drill holes.) You could mount the pup to one of those, then just install it as a normal humbucker.

Also, look at their "Firebird" frame. Might'n that do it?

Isn’t the traditional method simply to screw them directly in with foam or screws (for height adjustment) between the pickup and guitar? :dunno:

That is what I originally thought. So the supplied foam is used as a backing once the pickups are screwed in and put under a light load?
