Custom Shop Pearly Gates

Building a Warmoth HH Telecaster made of chambered swamp ash. I purchased a set of Seymour Duncan custom shop Pearly Gates pickups for the build, but now I'm thinking that I should've went with a mahogany body and I'm paranoid that it will be way too bright. Anybody have any experience with a swamp ash/pearly gates combo? Thanks.

Swamp ash is pretty warm sounding. It all depends on the weight.

Yep LOVE real Swamp ash very lively and warm.
Have a couple real swap ash USA Custom Shop Washburns from the 90's that sound fantastic!

i wouldnt worry about it, get it built and see what ya think. you can always tweak it from there
