Custom shop “strat in humbucker”

I did a little searching and I couldn’t find much information or reviews on this pick up. Has anyone used it, and how has it compared to, say, the phat cat or something similar? Is it legitimately a Strat pick up inside of a humbucker enclosure?

With the "Strat in Humbucker", you simply select the single coil of your choice, and they mount it in that cover. So it will sound like whatever single you choose. You could save a lot of money by just get getting one of those single-to-humbucker mounting rings, then use the single of your choice.

You probably haven't heard of it because most people understand that all you need to do is buy a 10 cent piece of plastic and spend 10 minutes carving and drilling it (or just buy the pre-made adapters).

Yeah, since it is a Custom Shop pickup, just specify what you want it to sound like and they will build it.
