Custom split

i'm thinking of installing a duncan custom in the bridge of my guitar (washburn WG780-think ibanez RG series). i am wondering what it sounds like in split mode does anyone have and audio samples or experience with this?

Sounds alot like a Tele or Strat pickup. Not exactly of course. But the 14.4K Custom splits into a totally usable 7.2K single coil. Lew

whats the bass like on it?(in split mode) the stock one i have on the guitar now has too much treble for my liking in split mode.

Sounds good to me...it's a compromise of course and the pickup was designed as a humbucker...not as a single coil that could be turned into a humbucker.:laugh2:

The JB has an even fatter tone split though. That's my favorite humbucker for splitting.
