That looks loud. I bet that Marshall is wonderful.

Yes sir ! The Marshall does the heavy lifting.
The new MESA is a 50 watt single rectifier and very loud for 50 honest watts.
The dual rec is a 3 channel 100 watt.
Ive spent the last 2 days cleaning & swapping tubes dialing in the new amp.
It sounds really good.

My back hurts looking at that....LOL. Gotta love a good Marshall though. Was never much of a Mesa fan myself.

Am I imagining things, or did you not also snag a Mark IV?

How do you find the Single's two channels compared to the Dual's three? Anything you think you may miss without the third channel?

I traded the MK IV for a Les Paul about 3 months ago. It was a great amp but i was in the market for a Les Paul.

On my 3 channel DR i use the orange channel like a classic rock tone then the clean & red [red for modern].
Don't be fooled by the single Rectifier the modern mode is a beast and loud af. Clean is adequate.
Single Rec for 50 honest watts is about 25 pounds lighter to carry but still all Rectifier.
I traded a MK III combo for the single Rec.
Loved the MK III but was hard to lug around and the guy traded to absolutely loves it and i wasn't playing it much anyway.
I would still have the MK III if it were a head.

Can't imagine trading mine for a guitar! But, you've made up for it with more Mesa so I'll hold my judgement.

Thanks for the info on the two recs. I have pondered the Single for years but might just settle for the modeler take on it
