Daisy Rock Guitars

For the past several years, it looked like Daisy Rock just gave up on doing a serious webpage. It looked like something a Kindergartener would make, with no useful information.

Looks like they're trying to make a serious go of it again. This is good news. I only have one, but she's solid, (Sycamore, to be exact), and plays and sounds great.

I hope they do this right.

Never even bothered looking for their website, just assumed they had one. Made by Dean at one time, I think. The ones that crossed my bench were decent enough, especially the little pink metallic single cuts that proliferated across the country a couple years ago. The girls like them, of course - but there's no reason guys can't dig 'em, either.

There's something about this that's so pink, it's like how much more pink could this be? And the answer is none. None more pink.

Made by Dean at one time, I think.

Since Tish Ciravolo, (the CEO and founder of DR), is the wife of Michael Ciravolo, (president of Schecter), I'm pretty sure they're basically Schecters. Mine has all the styling cues of a Schecter. Same build quality and all.

Mine is the rare Champagne Sparkle.

Edit: Just got an email from Daisy Rock. If I was fairly sure before, I'm positive now.

Well dang. They got their webpage up, and it has much more info. But it appears they're only doing one body style. I like the humbucker/Lipstick Tube combo, but the heart-shaped body and headstock ain't my cup 'o tea.

Also, it wouldn't surprise me if female guitarist's everywhere might be offended if a guitar company thought this is all they wanted in a guitar.

I can't help but think the heart shaped one doesn't really chugg with the bridge pickup so faraway from the bridge, LOL.

I had a 12 string semi hallow. Not a terrible guitar..BUT the headstock was huge and it neck dived terrible and wasnt comfortable to play, had my aunt sell it in her booth at the consignment/ antque store.
