Daisy

Re: Daisy

Had to put our dog to sleep yesterday.

This is my little ode to Daisy. She was a good girl.

Very mournful, I dig the harmonies for sure and the deliberateness of the time and feel is perfect for the song...

the lead line is very...introverted and retrospective...if that makes sense. Its almost like staring into some vast, dark pit I guess. if thats not a weird thing to say, I don't know what it is but it fits. also, the ending is fitting for the song but you should feel free to explore it more. I think you could extend it while still keeping interest, if you so choose

thanks - kind of hard to focus today to really do much on it; just had this urge to get the rough idea down - I wanted a lot more piano stuff. I do think there could be a whole orchestrated thing going on at the end, where it maybe turns happy, since she loved to play and hopefully is in a happy place. a project for down the road perhaps.

Re: Daisy

good thoughts, some things just need time. let us know when you get it updated! I enjoyed it

Re: Daisy

Nice- that's all I can say.

good dog memories never quite fade away, 'cause they usually represent life's happier simple moments

...I gets I did say more!

Re: Daisy

Man, I am sorry for your loss :(((

I like the song, very Iron Maidenish but a bit more modern. Very Emotional.

R.I.P Daisy...
