Damn!!!!! my EMG's scream metal in my schecter !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i installed a set of emg's 81/ 81 damn i got to say man they scream!!!!!!!! and they look killer on my c1 schecter silver top cream body binding black hardware , the emg;s match perfectly, the guitar sounds killer , imagine in a high dollar amp (mesa or something like it )
i got to thank tattoedcarrot i bought em from him he sended me everything the pots , clip battery, input jack, switc, everything wired up i just had to solder the battery clip

what version of windows do you have?
in all versions, there is a program called WINDOWS RECORDER.
, plug your guitar on your amp, and then, put the PC Microphone near the speaker. press rec on the windows recorder. and uncheck the MUTE box on the VOLUME CONTROLS , the mic section.
Now you are ready

lol well I have EMG's in my Ibanez and I half-agree with you. They can sound pretty sterile but it depends on the amp, I think. With the Metal Zone or Randall amp distortion it doesn't help....

If you're not using winblows or if you want to multitrack you can download audacity for free. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ . That's what I use it's good program.
