Well I actually scored one of these for even less than $20 but that deals gone so you'd have to get a new one, which is $20, so thus the title :wrf: lol
Anyways, these little Honey Tone amps run on a 9v battery and have some little 4" speaker. I honeslty bought one just because I thought it would make a cool decorative item. Very retro radio style in an aqua color with chrome plastic Honey Tone logo and grill. It looks like a cheap little 60's transitor radio
Know what though ? Its got a decent tone and its amazingly loud for its size. No its not tonal nirvana but it does a nice dirty blues tone.
I've played a bunch of other little micro amps and thought they all sounded like crap and usually they cost 3 or 4 times as much.
You can't beat one of these things for bang for the buck.
I took my strat and the little guy out on the porch and played for a while. Nice change of pace from an acoustic.
Next time you place an order from MF etc, add one of these little guys onto your order, well worth $20
