DANG temptation!!

Awhile back GC had a run of Les pauls that had quilt tops. They did a black, purplish color and Blue I think. I dont remember the model, but they were over $3k. They have a couple still in and one is purple and its marked down to $2500. Me Wants but cant get.

To make it worse, they now have in a Used LP Custom thats in an electric blue color that is unreal. OMG I want that one!! Its not Pelham blue.. its darker, but its not quite chicago blue either.

Just wanted to whine... Thanks for listening.. haha

You're welcome ha. I need some mylanta as well, been jonesin for a 7 string eclipse. Absolutely do not need it, but I'm trying to fill some sort void. At least that's my assessment. Maybe try to off some gear and acquire said LP from Gc?

While I certainly can feel your pain given the color choices (which basically are my 3 favorite guitar colors) but no way would a Gibson Les Paul be worth 2500 USD unless it was a custom shop with some serious labor-intensive features that make it stand out of the pack both feel and tone wise...

Why is blue so rare ? I checked out that used one, it is purple.

I've been gassing for a LP Standard, but I just got a Les Paul Standard Double Cut. Plus I just took it to a luthier to get a bone nut. On the way home I talked myself out of the LP Standard, BUT THEN I SAW THIS
20th Anni. Blueshawk !! Argghhhh I think they go for about $1500 - now I have to talk myself out of this one.
