slade, i was wondering why you haven't touched these yet. i suppose your mustang will be good. but i always did like the ichiban, the stormbird and the p-90 special and the 1962 airline town and country, which is a bit overpriced

You could get one of those hiddeous guitars and a yard sale amp that was originally bought at Montgomery Wards and be the next Jack White. Hiddeous tone.

hehe... hell yeah, MGTS :D Those are great. That Saturn looks so familiar... I love it. Well the trem is especially familiar :D I recognize the headstock from somewhere...

I've alway liked hummingbirds :smokin: And mosrites for that matter.

I've seen a lot of cool Wandre guitars, but that one doesn't do it for me I'm afraid :smack:

Yeah Theodie, looks like you can get an Airline :laugh2: But that one might actually sound better, seeing as it has a mahogany body instad of the fiberglass :smack:

Yikes, that Hummingbird is 10x uglier than the 59 Paul with the cutaway on the upper bout! The Saturn has a cool vibe to it, though.

you people are just no fun :D

Anyways, I do think that burns are uglier than any of those guitars. Burns are just conventional designs with odd detailing... these are something really off the wall :smokin:

Again with the Anti-Burns thing???? :)

I love ugly duckling guitars... But I'm not sure you can play anything but chords and basic licks on most of them, they look like somethng that would break your hand if you'll try to shred... :fingersx:

Hey dangly, i saw a guitarist last night ripping on a mustang. The band were pretty average but the mustang looked and sounded killer. Now i want one:yell:

I can't pinpoint ever seeing someone use a Mustang who endeared me to wanting one... Kurt, no, and Thurston came later. I just loved it... first sight :smokin: Shakira uses one though :laugh2:

Actually, the guitar mighta been a jag. The pickguard was all metal,...if that makes a difference?

I can never tell the difference between them
