dark, heavy, distoreted, mixed with vintage blues, what combo amp?

hey guys r theyre ne amps that would do well for my needs stated about, i play uh hard rock mostly and some metal. and i play thru a fender strat with cool rails... looking to spend round 500ish and must be como lol.
would either of there do:
-traynor blue
-laney? (i dont know what laney someone told me they would be good for this, ne laney suggestions)

thanks i know iv asked before but i still cant decide.

you could pick one up used under a grand; not too bad and will do everything & more

Yea I would say Mesas can get much darker tones than many amps.. including Laneys.

Yeh laneys aren't really that dark but u could use an EQ pedal

i have a ten band eq but dont know how to set it up with a strat to get the sond i want, r we tlaking like major scoop for darkness but then a bit more on the low mids for marshall er what?

what do u guys think of the mesa 22+ its a recording amp, but im not too concerd about the volums cuz my band has its own pa and they said i could use it cuz none of them need to.
