Dave Mustaine Livewire set blue box

I recently purchased a set of these pick ups online and they did not include long shaft pots for use in my Les Paul. I also noticed that these pots are 100 K and not the usual 25K so I called Seymour Duncan and asked if they could send me four long shaft pots for use with my Livewire set but when they arrived, I noticed they sent me 25k long shaft pots, not the 100k needed for my set.

Are the currently made DM Livewire now running 25k or are they still 100k pots?

The new ones are 25k so they must have made a simple mistake there. I always got mine from Allparts and other online sources so you can try there, or possibly luck out and find a local shop that stock them. If youre not in a hurry then try emailing SD again to correct the issue.

Oh ok, so the new ones do use 25k pots. Ok so I’m assuming there might be a sonic difference between my blue label DM set and the new revised set?

Early Lw-must also came with the wrong cap value.
