DD or BW 7 for Grind/doom

I have a 7 string LTD basswood body. Cheap guitar but upgrading everything on it.
I just got the nazgul 7 in the mail today. I have yet to install it. I want to have a thick sounding neck. I wont be playing any solos, so I dont need the sentient.
I am listening and reading reviews for the distortion and black winter and can't decide.
I plan on wiring up a on/on/on for series/split/parallal for the nazgul, a pushpull phase pot, and another "solo (bypass) pushpull" for both pickups.
I work on guitars but picking tones is something completely different. I almost want to just route a 3rd pickup hole and install them both.

Like I said, I dont really play solos, I would want the neck for thick full chords like doom, sludge, stoner.

Thanks!

I think you will want to use your bridge for only rhythm... generally the neck is best for cleans, getting stoner sludge doom sounds on a nazgul will work for sure... for the neck pickup i suggest a black winter neck rather than the distortion neck, the distortion neck isnt the best, the other options i would suggest maybe a jb in the neck, a 59 bridge model in the neck or a sentient which all sound great clean and overdriven...
