Hi All,
New to this thread. I see a lot of talk about the new v. old. I have an 80's Charvel strat that I cut down to what I call a Teeny Tele. Added a single neck pup route, installed a Duncan single at the neck (can't remember the model) and wanted a twangy tone for the bridge. So I installed a 498T and got what I wanted (at the time). After a couple of different configs, I found a DDJ on Reverb and just wired it in using 300k single audio pot. WOW! I have a new fave guitar. Best sounding guitar I own, and I have quite a few. If anyone can find anything in this era, that is Juarez wound, and you don't buy it? Message me so I can!!
