DDn in Bridge?

Most people know that the Duncan Distortion neck model was initially the Seymourizer II. It just so happened that it paired well with the DDb.

But what I want to know is if anyone here has any experience with it as it was originally intended to be, in the bridge. I was looking into it for a future build, but I'm not usually into high wind, high output, ceramic humbuckers

Re: DDn in Bridge?

I actually just read someone that was doing this exact thing but he didnt go into much detail, so I had more questions than answers.

If you used a DDN in the bridge, would you turn it so the poles are closest to the bridge? Thats prob what Id do after thinking about this a little bit. What guitar do you have in mind?

Ill be watching this thread to see what the guys here have to say, but I like your thinking.

Re: DDn in Bridge?

I haven't. But given my experience with it in the neck, I totally would. Especially in a bolt on superstrat with a Floyd. Plenty of bottom. Even more top than a Custom. Still enough mids. Maybe even more cut than a Custom.
