Deacy amps

So Brian May extensively used a little one watt battery powered thing with an 8 inch speaker built for him by Queen's bassist John Deacon.
It has a couple of ac128 germ trannies in it and a few other little bits and pieces.
Vox make an amp based on it with a built in treble booster for 299.
There is a boutique identical clone thing for like 1200.
Anyone know if you can buy a PCB kit thing?
The schematic looks simple enough, but im not good enough at electronics to try to build something likr this with no PCB and dot to dot instructions! lol

The 1w amp kit from Fryer is about $400. Haven't played the Vox version, though I've read that it's not bad.

To get a Deacy sound, I use my old, crappy 10w SS Squier amp, whack on the o/d and play through my TB, and it gets that thin, broken yet sustaining sound.
