Some of you guys know these, but here's a crash course for those who don't:
Full Schaller hardware
REAL mahogany 2pc bodies and necks
Solid figured maple tops (no veneers here)
Ebony fretboard with mop (the 'p' is 'pearl' not 'plastic')
mop Dean logo.
Elliott Rubinson (Dean CEO) has estimated no more than 500-600 Czechs got made, including all the bolt ons, so snap this up. It's also got a set of Manlius Wurstkotzenbuckers ( http://www.manliusguitar.com/Humbuckers.html ) and the tone controls bypassed and a brand spankin new bone nut. Yep, it even stays in tune. Nuts, huh?
The bad: like most of these, the finish has cracked around the neck pocket, but it's still structurally sound. The bridge saddles are chrome and older than God (to replace a very poorly installed set of Graphtecs that came on it). Asking $600 shipped in contenental US.
It's a total screamer, but I don't need 2 of the same guitar in different finishes and my purple one is just...well...purple.
I'll give it a few days and then it'll hit the 'bay.
