I've also come to like a soft V shape on a neck, over a C. I don't like large shoulders on guitars. I own 4 of Dean's guitars, all are the Dean Hardtail models. Two of them have soft V necks and two have a thinner C. I'm keeping 2 and selling 2 and ironically my two absolute favorites have different neck shapes. One a V and one a C.
Mr. Z. has great guitar ideas and the Hardtail may be the best he's designed. AFAIC, they're PRS killers. I wouldn't mind having several of the older Dean USA models and I'd be interested in buying one or two of his current guitars.
