I love this song, so I decided to throw a bit of metal flavor into the mix...

All rhythms are my Custom besides the bridge where it goes down to B, that's the 707. All leads are the Custom split.

Pretty cool man, but it could do with being a bit longer. Those low notes sounded pretty cool - nice chunky tone

Haha thanks much! I have to warn you; I'm working on 3 more songs right now... One is a kind of Nevermore/Groove metal track, another is inspired by Necrophagist, and the last one is like Iron Maiden on crack.



As always, the recording was just Podxt via USB, into Nuendo. I use a Waves C4 on all guitar tracks to tighten up the low mids. No other compression/eq on the guitars.

You obviously practice your butt off, play with taste and a sense of melody, post thoughtfully and help others. Regardless of your age (you're surely getting tired of hearing this, sorry) you're a fine musician.

I'm a fan, really enjoyed this clip. :headbang:

max, now you HAVE! to put it together. and dont make it short. vikings vere all about long.. longboats, longswords, long voyages, long...horns on their helmets, you get the idea!

Lol, I'll try and get it done before the end of the week. I've got too much school work to do atm.
