Deciding on a pickup for BC Rich Gunslinger

So I have a BC Rich Gunslinger from the 80's that has an EMG 85 slanted. It's sounds ok but I like the note definition of passive however I like the lead output. I am trying to decide between a custom custom or a Dimarzio Super Distortion. This has a trem but slanted so I think standard spacing will line up ok. When I play a full g Chord I want to hear all the notes with balls and highs but not shrill. The worries I have with the super d are that it doesnt have enough highs and I am worried that the custom custom has to much. I am not going to be playing modern metal more 80's metal.

I say Pink JB !!!!!

But...Custom Custom is BUILT for that sort of axe.

And SuperD is NEVER a bad choice.

The SuperD has way more highs than people give it credit for (for some reason...).

The CC is the most likely to not have enough, IMO.

Balls = SuperD IMO.

I still say Pink Jb FTW

Duncan distortion has the output and also tons of clarity. It can do vintage and modern metal tones great. If you don't mind a looser lowend the jb is great in guitars like that
