Hey, ok, im in a predicament. Not too sure what i want.
I'm gonna get a new delay pedal/s. I've got the DD6 right now, it's okay, but theres just "too much" functions and i hate having to tweak the delay every time i need a diff type of delay, slapback or full on delay. I just dont like how theres just so many knobs.
I'm thinking of either getting a multi delay unit like the Line 6 DL4 or the Boss DD20. I was also pondering on getting two seperate delay stomp boxes. The Line 6 DL4 seems okay, but the some say theres reliability issues. The DD20 is boss, and i'm scared i won't like it for the same reason as my dd6. Not sure about single stomp boxes either as i was looking at the Ibanez AD9. However im not too sure about how that would be esp without the tap function. I guess if i have two seperate delays, i would use one for slapback and 'solo' delay. and the other for more full on, delay repeats. How you think that'd work in terms of no tap tempo.
