Delay Pedals

I'm looking for a new delay pedal. Right now I have an Ibanez AD9 and it's I good pedal for the most part, but it has a fairly short maximum delay time and the only way to set the delay time is with one of the knobs, making hard to make changes on the fly.

My main requirements for a delay pedal are tap tempo, at least a few seconds of delay, and I'd like to stay under $250.

I appreciate any recomendations or advice anyone has.

lots of good options for various prices, I'd start your search with the following

Boss DD-20 or DD6
Line6 DL4 or Echo Park
TC Nova Delay

Digitech's DigiDelay is awesome, and can be found used for $60 or so.

Thanks for the segestions. I'm hoping to check out some of my local guitar stores and see what they have and try them out.

Echo Park, DL-4 and DD-20 are all versatile and the last two also have loopers.

Pretty much anything that was mentioned above. The tape on the Digidelay is pretty good for the price, but the one most people use is the DL4, because it can handle all your delay needs.
