Delay + Reverb in one recommendations

Been looking for a a nice two in one pedal I could use for solos. Ideally it would be a single footswitch for the easiest activation. So far I see some stuff like the EQD Dispatch Master and Wampler Ethereal, but I'd like to hear what I'm missing or what you suggest. Hoping to keep it $200 USD and under. Thanks!

Re: Delay + Reverb in one recommendations

The dispatch master is great but there's a *tiny* bit of white noise that it comes with, and the reverb is so cavernous and huge that honestly you should be careful with it. But it is ethereal. And you can adjust the brightness of the reverb, and you can use it as only verb or only delay for those times you need just one. The delays have a touch of warmth and the time knob is touchy but has a huge range, and the repeats on infinite is a cool effect.
I liked it and had it for a few months but I traded it and some other stuff to fund other gear.
Really really cool unit though. I miss it but I didn't need it per se cuz my amp has a reverb tank and I find the drip sound of the tank a little more useful for every day playing than the epic cathedral sound of the dispatch master which is great if you're in an atmospheric or maybe shoegaze or such. But it's a heckin cool sounding pedal.

Is it okay if the delay and reverb are tossed in a blender?

Oh does that do delay stuff too? I do love the way that thing sounds, but I'm thinking I'd rather have a more clearly defined repeats and just a more "roomy" reverb. Think Pink Floyd's Time solo in a box.

This is super useful, thank you!

Nice but I think too much for me in features and price lol

My go to for say, a single stomp solo on Rock You Like A Hurricane and such. This pedal is a highly under-rated oldie but goody. It's three, count'em three pedals in one. A great boss digital delay (Like DD3), and a solid reverb for room, hall or plate, and a Reverb + Delay pedal for awesome leads or atmosphere.

Boss makes a competent reverb or delay product, just the thing when you want to go with something aggressively middle-brow and good-sounding in the way that a Sony A/V sounds good, and Bob I am totally messing with you.

Alexander Sky Fi.

Hasn’t left my board since I bought it. I use it just for the reverb but the delay is good as well.

I have the RV6. I love it. Check it out at Sweetwater.

Re: Delay + Reverb in one recommendations

IS the +delay on that as good as the RV-3?

+Shimmer - hahahahah Should be the RVW for Reverb Worship

Never played the RV3, Bob, but I do like the delay on this one.
Yeah, the Shimmer is pretty cool! Almost sounds as if the reverb
is an organ.

Re: Delay + Reverb in one recommendations

When in delay mode, the RV3 is a pure delay pedal

Re: Delay + Reverb in one recommendations

Maybe check out the Keeley Caverns. There are seperate delay and reverb foot switches so it's a little bigger case but more versatile than a single switch pedal and still a lot less real estate than two separate pedals. I wish I bought one but I wasn't keen on the layout of the first version with it's mini pots. The current versions controls still look a little cramped but workable. It's under $200.
I have a Dispatch Master and it's fine since I don't play out. As mentioned, the reverb is very cavernous. Over the top for my tastes. When I use it, I usually combine a little delay with a touch of reverb for a subtle but cool effect. It's a cool pedal but not very versatile seeing as you have to set for reverb or delay if you want one or the other.

I have the Keeley Caverns on my mini board and I absolutely love it! Fabulous tones, and the 2 footswitches are close enough to be stomped on by a size 10 at the same time!
