Delay test small clip.

Took my two old DD-2 and DSD-2 delays to work, and changed the output filter alittle, had a very small drop in volume in both bypass and on, so I changed that alittle, to allow more signal to pass through.
Here is a small test clip...used my Kramer Mutt, neck pickup is my DmZ VS "singlecoil"....
Drive, a modded TS-9, comp CS-3, CE-3 provided a slight modulation, it went before the drive(the CE-3 is also slightly modded for more clean signal, again for more 1:1 signal).
Used a Bug as amp sim, and an old CM Parametric EQ/pre-amp for eq.

Re: Delay test small clip.

Wow what a great, crisp sound you get from a simulator. It really rocks. What sim do you use? I use guitar rig 2 and it's no where close to a sound like this... Do you boost your guitar signal before you put a sim on it?

Re: Delay test small clip.

Thanks...I love delay:D
Those pedals are cramped on the inside...hehe
But these two old ones cuts it now:) so I am quite happy, sorry forgot to mention the Lexicon LXP-1 as reverb.
I use this amp sim...

Re: Delay test small clip.

Totally Gilmour-ish, nice dreamy mood. For my part the guitar could sound a tiny bit brighter but that's my taste. :)

I think I have to test out this Rock Bug! I'm tired playing through my Marshall MG at home and the OD pedals don't sound good through the pile of craeb ;)

Re: Delay test small clip.

Thanks Adrian:)
The lack of bite was just me playing softly here:)
As I like it clear too...hehe
The Bug just needs a console or a recording preamp, in order to sound right, and it is clean, no od in this one, so you need your pedals or a preamp that can go at musiclevels.
