Metal Band Seeking Guitarist and Bassist with Vocal Ability
Guitarist and Drummer/Vocalist are seeking a guitarist and bassist with vocal ability to round out a metal act that plays original songs. One of the two members must be willing and comfortable enough with their ability to split vocal duties with the drummer; it would be highly preferable if both incoming members were competent singers (adding a guitarist who's comfortable doing both rhythm and leads like our current guitarist would be supreme.) Our guitarist has a pro half stack and the drummer's a heavy hitter, so we need to have people with the equipment and power to keep up. We're looking for contributors and not free riders, so the band members will be expected to help out with the band duties as we get started (writing, booking, production, merchandise, helping with costs, etc.) "Can-do" attitude is a must, members who hit the gym are a huge plus. This is a band that seeks to operate by committee, so team players who look to push each other are preferred over followers or people who "have" to be in charge. Note: We will consider adding a lead vocalist, but only if that person possesses the drive, attitude, ability, and equipment to justify being the lead singer. We don't care to deal with people who think owning a PA or having cute pants are the sole qualifications of being a vocalist. Thanks.
