Demos: JB, DD, & Dimarz Sup.D

In May I posted a basic primer on cranking power tubes in combo amps to get a metal tone. I've finally posted the second part, which is how valuable a good hot output pickup is to getting a great tone. Using my favorite most popular models, I made demos for the JB, DD, & Dimarz Super D, detailing what attributes I happen to adore about them. These three are all done with the exact same gear settings.

Afterward, I was gonna do one for the EMG-81, but when I played it, it didn't inspire me. However, I do appreciate it's popularity & skilled usage by other players.

Honestly, to the members of this forum, there's nothing you didn't already know in these.

To me, the JB sounded better than the others. But maybe it's because I liked the riff more. =)

Re:RCrosby-That's news to me! Jake E Lee used the A.Holsworth on one of his guitars as well. It's basically a JB with paired polepieces if my memory serves...

Symptom: the fun part about the riff is that it is the same chords going down as going up: A C D F
