Deoxit D5 & G5 Question

I thought I got the G5 I asked the sales man to get me at GC and didn't check till I got home ( 80 miles away ) and found I had been sold instead the D5 .

So the question is this :

Is using the D5 on my volume pots on my Godin LGXSA instead of the G5 , could there be any negative results for using it .

I don't think it would be a problem but I thought little feed back on this wouldn't hoit .

The D5 is probably better because the G5 is formulated for gold and precious metals. There shouldn't be any in your pots, carbon/resistor material and brass/steel/alloys of some sort. Maybe some plastic.....
