As many of you know I have been on the hunt for a new tele. I decided to buy the fender lite ash tele and turn it into the following.

although lots of folks like buckers in the neck, I have a feeling that a mini hum (a true mini hum, not a single coil size) would balance better with that setup - something like the Firebird pickup or Antiquity II mini hum

What you could do is put a strat 5 way switch in it and replace one of the pots with a push pull pot that when pulled it will turn on the bridge pickup, that way when you are in the 4 position all three pickups will be on or if you are in the 5 position the bridge and neck will be on. You will have 7 way switching.
