Adam, you guys should do some vinyl pressings with foldout cover art, so I can open it up when I first get it and check out all the cool artwork as I listen to the album through my headphones while lying on my bed, just like I used to do when I was a kid. :)

I've already listened to "Swirling Frozen Doom" three times this morning.

Anything between those guitars and amps, or are you guys plugging straight in?

My God - that would be so awesome. I don't think we have enough artwork right now for a vinyl pressing, but man would I love to do that. I'd love to hear what our record would sound like on vinyl...

On this track? We used a Boss DD-6 on the pull-off lead thingy over the bridge, right before the bluesy break.

Other than that..... nothin'. The only things between the guitars and the amps were a Korg DT-10 pedal tuner and two long instrument cables.

When I was a young'un, I saw Stanley Jordan's band play live. After the show, I met the band and got really nervous talking with the drummer. My mind went blank, and I heard myself utter from someplace far away, "So what kind of sticks do you use?"

That's not that bad! That's actually an answerable question and probably of some interest to drummers.. I mean, it's not exactly a penetrating and insightful commentary on their purveyance of the craft, but it could have been worse.

"So... Do you like playing drums? Who's your favorite drummer?" haha

just listened to the track currently on the myspace. all around some great, organic tones! very nice production too, its not "LETS MAKE THE ENTIRE SONG A SOLID HORIZONTAL BAR OF SOUND! LMAO!11". uber compression can be deadly

adam - you guys should massively proud of yourselves .. very righteous composition, performance, and overall execution ... all the tones are spot on for conveying the segment they are featured in ... very tight musicianship ... marvelous transitions - never jarring ... just really really smokin ... i LOVE the 'organic' production values .. never hyper compressed , but still huge sounding

best of luck - grab the reins of that rocket, you boys are goin' for a ride

really enjoyable! ya'll have a good sense of humor in your artwork and music key choices. You should go far with this! great musicianship - I can tell this is the lifelong accomplishment type thing

Wow - thank you man.

I have to say, I don't know how far I expect the ride to go. I mean, there's not much of a market for instrumental stoner/doom/thrash/whatever...

We're like Sunn O))) but + riffs - cloaks. :D

One of the songs on the album has some vocals in it! :)

We're pretty much just doing what we feel like with absolutely no cognizance of or attention paid to any form of commercial viability whatsoever. Right now we just don't feel much like singing. ;)

I'm not the person physically shipping them out, but orders received before this weekend should make it to folks on/around the 9th.

Autographed? I never even considered that anyone would want that... I'd say "sure!" but I can't guarantee that a specific autographed CD would make it to the right person and I'd hate screw up something like that.
