Well, I have been away from the forum for awhile. During my absence i purchased one of these beauty's. Here is the site www.diamonpedals.com, basic info there.
Review:
O.K, These pedals are made about an hours drive away from me.
The Fireburst is an amazing pedal, extremely versatile which isn't something i expected for the most part. You can have so many different sounds come out of this thing because of this feature: Once you step on the On/Off switch its a very thick sounding fuzz. Just by turning the gain knob and leaving the treble and bass at 12 o' clock, you can go from a fuzz face type fuzz all the way to a square wave fuzz like muse. There is a cool soundsing setting on a setting sheet that came with it called "E-violin" that has endless amounts of sustain, totally unbelievable.
With the On/Off LED on, When you step on the Mid-Boost switch it becomes a whole new monster. With the gain around 10 o' clock, bass at 12 o' clock treble around 2 o' clock you get an amazing maiden sound, push the treble up all the way and you get a good rhoads era ozzy sound. I really can't stress the amazing 80's metal tone you can get out of this pedal. With the gain set up to 1 o'clock or so, the treble and bass at 2 o' clock you get a damn good pantera sound out of this pedal, because when you push the treble and the bass at the same time it scoops out the mids abit. The construction of these pedals on the exterior is extremely good and its built like a tank. As far as the electronics go, i dont know much about that stuff so here is a link : http://www.diamondpedals.com/build_quality.html.
I would post clips if a had some recording gear(working on that) i can't stress how amazing this pedal sounds, there are some clips of all there pedals on the diamond pedals site, it ran me 229$ canadian, which to me is well worth it. Anyways thats it for the review, i know its not very detailed, im not the greatest at describing things :fing25:
www.diamondpedals.com , They also have more pedals, the J-Drive, and Diamond Drive which are more suited for Classic Rock/Blues, a compressor And a delay that they just finished Called Memory Lane which is also an amazing sounding pedal judging by the clips on there site.
